Therapy for People Who Already Tried Talking About It

Evidence-based trauma therapy for growth-oriented adults in Calgary using EMDR, IFS, and approaches that go deeper than talk therapy.

A Different Kind of Therapy

Most people who find their way to my practice have already done some work on themselves. They've read the books, tried the breathing exercises, maybe even seen another therapist. And yet something is still stuck.

That's where I come in.

I'm Angelo Sison, a Registered Psychologist in Calgary. I work with adults and teens who are ready to move beyond symptom management and into real, lasting change. My approach is direct, structured, and grounded in the latest evidence because I believe you deserve more than being asked how that makes you feel.

I specialize in complex trauma, EMDR, and therapy for high performers, men, people of colour, and second-generation Canadians navigating identity and family pressure. Whether you're carrying old wounds or hitting a wall you can't explain, therapy with me is built around building a mind that adapts, refocuses, and grows.

Calgary clients are seen in person at Suite 210, 333 24 Ave SW, or virtually across Alberta and Quebec.

Angelo Sison, registered psychologist at Flow State Psychology in Calgary, specializing in therapy for high performers and mental resilience. Focus primarily on specific populations; men's mental health, ethnic minorities, and adolescent teens.

How I Can Help

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions built around you, your history, your patterns, your goals. We'll develop a clear treatment plan, track your progress, and use evidence-based interventions that actually move the needle. This isn't just venting. It's structured, intentional work.

Adolescent Therapy

Healing from complex trauma requires more than talking about it. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) to help you process and release what's kept you stuck at the level where it actually lives.

Trauma Therapy

Adolescence is when identity, emotion, and pressure collide. I work with teens to build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the coping skills to navigate school, relationships, and the weight of growing up in a space where they don't have to perform or filter themselves.
